C-17 03 confirmed 09:15 LT

As recently as two weeks ago eight airframes were noted stored outside behind the hangars. Clearly visible when you walk or drive on the road along the fence near the side entrance.

Da50 17402 was parked on the old DHL ramp flanking in front of the row which contained the Czech A319, the Greek Embraer and at least another civilian Embraer. Parked further on was the Ukrainian IL62. A lot of other civilian bizjet stuff parked about made it difficult to spot.

Noted parked at GZR at lunchtime was NH90 N-164.

Also seen last night at Abelag was FAP Da50 17402.

According to www.armyaircrews.com a RPG was shot into the rear of the aircraft when unloading in Kunar province. An Afghan interpreter was killed.

CJ, of course you're right: Peru has only observer status as do a number of other mainly South-American countries.
