Hi Withnail,

both Italian Eurofighters were in the shelterarea. One was towed inside quite early after the mission was cancelled, the other one stayed outside much longer and was towed inside, not before three o'clock I guess.
All three Spanish EAV-8B's were noted by us on the flightline. The view on the middle one was much obstructed though by one of the 111sq Tornado's F3's.

Haven't seen it being mentioned yet: FRA Falcon 20 G-FRAU left yesterday morning, but a replacement in the shape of G-FRAT occurred yesterday afternoon.

On Thursday did anyone manage to read off the two Spanish F1's ? These are new as there was a swap on Weds .

Thanks Bas,

I would like to know which EF2000 the one was that was towen insode early. I did notice al three Harriers, but I want to know which one was towed to the TLP platform.

are you sure this swap has taken place? I 've seen the mentioning of the flightplan but haven't seen anybody mentioning their actual arrival.

I saw the plan and the arrival message from EBFS TWR. There was also a plan for two to depart EBFS dest LEAB at 1430z . They could of been doing a pilot swap and the same two a/c went back ?

I tried reading them off on Thurs but failed miserably :(

That makes sense: it would explain 46-15 arriving with its hook down on friday the 17th (see photoforum) and it would also explain the presence of the Spanish Hercules on thursday the 23rd. And as for the photo of the engine being driven across the field on thursday 23 (see photoforum; edit: that picture -by Stefan Lodewijks- is in the Belvedair-section of the EWAS-website! my fault :oops: ): did anybody bother to check whether that was an F-16 engine or an F-18 one?? (I for me can't tell the difference; I'm in no way that technical... :wink: )

Despite the not-so-good weather predictions and the Pelican crash yesterday, the TLP launched most of the aircraft between 12:30 and 13:00. However more aircraft than usual remained behind on the flightline (3x AV-8, 2x AMX (I strongly believe 51-60, hangared), 3x F/A-18, 3x F3 and 1x AV F-16C) Also the Eurofighters were not seen today.

Hello,

Can somebody confirm the C.14-68/14-40 was already at the ramp on Thursday (23rd)?Is was noted at Friday.

I can confirm that the last one towed inside was MM7284/4-21. Read off myself. So the first one should be MM7286/4-2.

Can't help you with the Harrier's.
