That makes sense: it would explain 46-15 arriving with its hook down on friday the 17th (see photoforum) and it would also explain the presence of the Spanish Hercules on thursday the 23rd. And as for the photo of the engine being driven across the field on thursday 23 (see photoforum; edit: that picture -by Stefan Lodewijks- is in the Belvedair-section of the EWAS-website! my fault ): did anybody bother to check whether that was an F-16 engine or an F-18 one??
