In 2015 the United Arab Emirates donated 12 armed AT-802 Air Tractors for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. 102 Tactical Air Wing was established with 26 squadron at Ismailia to fly the AT-802. Detachments of the AT-802 are based at Milaz (Sinai) and Aswan (Southern Egypt).

The EAF is operating twelve S-70A-21 Black Hawks in two units: 7 (VIP) Squadron and 21 Squadron under 546 Air Wing from Almaza and Sidi Barrani respectively. The VIP squadron has only a few Blackhawks in service, while 21 Squadron is an assault unit for the special forces of the Egyptian Army.

The Wing Loong II UCAS are in Egyptian service since 2019. At least three squadrons (20 sq, 22 sq and 24 sq) under 702 Air Wing operates these drones from Dakhla, Uthman and Milaz (Sinaï).
